Here we will attempt to list some of the most frequently asked questions we have come across in our short existence. Obviously we can't address everything so feel free to email your specific questions to ideaassociation@gmail.com.

Q: What is "open and participatory project management"?

A: Open and participatory project management is a term meant to convey the idea that a project can be managed and created by anyone, and thus its success or failure can be judged by everyone since it is inherently transparent.

Q: So what social issue or problem does IDEA solve?

A: Very important to the core mission of The IDEA Association is the concept that the fundamental processes it has outlined can be used within ANY social issue.  IDEA believes the success of any social problem solving project starts with a community coming together in equitable participation.

Q: Who are you currently working with?

A: The IDEA Association seeks to collaborate and work with every organization and stakeholder in Kalamazoo.  Examples of organizations we have or are currently worked(ing) with include: The People's Food Co-op, YMCA of Greater Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Community Foundation, Young Chef's Academy, Climb Kalamazoo, and The Strutt.
